Who we are

Gia is a digital health advocate built by Neem Health ("Neem Health", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Gia waitlist and, once it's available, the Gia app, why we collect it, and how it's protected.

Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect what you give us directly — your name and email address — plus basic usage data like the pages you visit and the device and browser you're using, so we can keep the site working properly.

Once the Gia app is available, you'll be able to connect sources like wearables (Whoop, Oura), your phone's health data (Apple Health, Android Health Connect), your calendar, and your electronic health records, so Gia can help you carry your health story across every doctor you see. Each connection is optional and only happens with your active consent — Gia never reaches into a source you haven't explicitly connected.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal or health information to anyone, for any reason. We do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it for advertising or third-party ad networks.

Your information is used to run and improve Gia and to communicate with you about your waitlist status and early access — that's it.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the waitlist and, later, the Gia app; to help you prepare for, navigate, and follow through on doctor's visits; to keep our systems secure; and to understand how people use Gia so we can improve it.

If you've joined the waitlist, we'll email you about early access and important updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

How we protect health information

Health records you connect to Gia — including electronic health records — are stored separately from your general account and wearable data, in a more heavily access-controlled store, and are only ever retrieved after your active, explicit consent for that connection.

Every access to your health records is logged before it happens, and that log can't be edited or deleted through normal use. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to what's needed to provide Gia to you.

Gia is a tool to help you organize and communicate your own health information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.

Who we share information with

We share information with the service providers who help us run Gia — hosting, email, and analytics providers, and, for connected health records, our EHR connectivity partner — under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.

We do not share your data with other companies building on our infrastructure, and we do not sell it to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Gia, respond to you, and meet legal obligations. You can request full deletion of your data at any time by contacting us — this removes your account, wearable, calendar, and health-record data.

One exception: records of who accessed your health information, and when, are kept even after the underlying data is deleted, since that audit trail is what lets us account for and secure access to health records. Those records contain only identifiers, actions, and timestamps — never your clinical content itself.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can disconnect any source (wearable, calendar, EHR) at any time, which stops future syncing. Disconnecting a source does not automatically delete what's already been collected — request deletion separately if you want that too.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@neemhealth.ai.

Children's privacy

Gia is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

International users

Gia is based in the United States and our systems are located here. If you use Gia from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Gia evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
